With this adapter plug you can easily charge an electric car with a type 1 Yazaki connection with a type 2 Mennekes cable. It does not matter whether it is a fixed charging cable from a charging station or a loose type 2 charging cable.
You simply click your type 2 charging cable into the adapter and then plug everything into the type 1 port of your car. Once it is secure, press the small silver button on top of the adapter. Once you have done this, you are actively charging your type 1 car with a type 2 charging cable!
The adapter has IP55 protection when connected and a maximum charging speed of 7.4 kW at a current of 32 amperes.
